This system literally fits perfectly in the room, and the minimal equipment on show is colour-matched to the room and does not stand out at all
This wonderful countryside cottage had recently undergone a modern Huf Haus living-room extension to take advantage of the view of the property’s vast grounds. Whilst the room’s minimal look already had the wow-factor, the client could not see a way to incorporate a TV without impacting the view, with it on show all the time.
The room was very bright during the day thanks to the wonderful surroundings and glass walls letting in sunlight. While attractive, lots of sunlight makes it hard to deliver a good video image. The customer's desire was the ability to watch TV, etc, in the room.
Our solution centred around a discreet projector and motorised drop-down screen. When not in use the screen disappears into the room ceiling. This reveals a full view of the wonderful garden while the projector is visible, but its dark colour and position at the back of the room at ceiling height means it blends in with the room's construction.
A good of example of our attention to detail can be found in looking at the colour of the screen housing. We purposely had the finish of the housing RAL colour-matched to the trademark Huf Haus joists to make it properly 'disappear'.
Whilst it was possible to hide the screen when not in use, there were no walls or cabinets in which to hide the loudspeakers. Again, using some creative-thinking and our wide product portfolio, we were able to source small loudspeakers that were custom finished in the same Hauf Haus grey as the room joists. In addition, the main loudspeakers were 'hidden' in the ceiling joists, while the subwoofer stands discreetly in the corner of the room.
We work with some wonderful clients and in some amazing properties! Here are just a few of the projects we've been proud to work on.
